Following a period of stagnation in the initial half of the trading session, Indian frontline indices underwent a notable downturn in the latter half, ultimately closing the session on a lower note. The BSE Sensex declined 0.22% to 64,832 level at the close. The Nifty 50 index fell 0.25% to a level of 19,395.

With 1,656 shares rising on the BSE and 2,045 shares declining, the advance-decline ratio remained in favour of declines. The company oversees the import and sale of bulk and packaged bitumen, along with other bituminous materials, offering comprehensive bitumen solutions to traders, importers, and manufacturing companies involved in road construction and manufacturing processes. Today, its shares saw an impressive 16-fold surge in volume, marking a notable 12% gain.

Burnpur Cement Ltd

The company ranks as one of the eastern region’s most distinguished and largest integrated cement companies. Strong buying interest propelled the shares to hit the 10% upper circuit, reaching Rs 6.39 per share on the BSE.

Tiaan Consumer Ltd

The company is in the business of manufacturing and selling Ayurveda-based products, including soaps, shampoos, body lotions, gels, face washes, and face creams. These are prepared from natural ingredients like extracts from medicinal plants such as Neem, Tulsi, Turmeric, etc. The shares soared over 9% today to touch an intraday high of Rs 3.23 on the BSE.
